Appcast is seeking Business Development Specialists to generate and qualify incremental revenue opportunities for the company.


  • Business development in support of the primary sales team
  • Generating new business relationships and selling our talent acquisition solutions across multiple industries
  • Comfortable working within a matrix organization and executing tasks while working alongside marketing, sales and product teams
  • Expanding the use of our solutions to existing clients, converting inbound leads into opportunities, developing new clients through outbound lead activity, and possible engagement with partners
  • Managing the progression of opportunities through the sales cycle and culminating new contracts
  • Ability to effectively learn and identify appropriate solutions within our offerings and engage with HR, business, technology and executive leaders

Candidate Traits

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience selling to all industries, with a specific focus on Technology, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Healthcare, The Gig Economy, and Transportation
  • Experience with Software (SaaS, Hosted or Installed), Recruitment Analytics, and Talent Acquisition
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and connect well with people
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong sales aptitude & closing techniques, coupled with an outgoing and positive attitude
  • Driven to succeed and achieve targets
  • Self-motivated, driven and has a “go-getter” attitude
  • Professional, articulate communication skills with the ability to manage correspondence between sales teams and their clients
  • Comfortable working with multiple departments
  • Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, quota driven environment
  • Keen interest in software and technology
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
