Appcast is thrilled to announce that we’ve been named a ‘Coolest Companies for Young Professionals’ winner by StayWorkPlay, a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging 20 and 30 “somethings” to stay in, come to, or “boomerang” back to New Hampshire. Last Monday, a group of Appast team members headed to Bow, New Hampshire to attend the NHPR sponsored, StayWorkPlay Rising Star’s Awards. Along with Appcast being nominated for the ‘Coolest Companies for Young Professionals’ Award, Dan Larsen, one of Appcast’s notable Account Managers, was nominated for the ‘Young Professional of the Year’ award.

Chris Forman, CEO & Founder of Appcast, accepted the team’s award for ‘Coolest Companies for Young Professionals.’ Upon accepting the award, Chris stressed the fact that we’ve created a company in which everyone is ‘proud and happy to be working at Appcast.’ He stated, that with nearly ⅔ of Appcast’s employees representing those under the age of 40, it’s been important for him to create a work environment where young people are given immense responsibility and the ability to excel both personally and professionally. The opportunities that have been given to the young employees at Appcast are a key reason for the company’s fast growth, he stated. More of Chris Forman’s ideas on company culture and growth can be seen here in his latest blog post, The True Driver of Company Culture and Employee Engagement. StayWorkPlay is a non-profit organization that was established in 2009 to support the Governor’s Task Force for the Recruitment and Retention of a Young Workforce for New Hampshire. Currently, only about half of the state’s college graduates end up staying, working and living in New Hampshire. To support the Governor’s Task Force initiative, StayWorkPlay was founded to encourage the 20 and 30 year old demographic to learn more about the states offering through social media and marketing initiatives.
