With HR Tech coming next week, and all the new tech emerging in the HR space, we thought it would be helpful to breakdown some common recruitment tech terminology so you can get the most out of your conference experience!

Put on your spectacles and listen in, because these are the terms you will need to speak geek.

Recruitment Tech Terminology You Need to Know:


Clicks
:
The number of views a job posting gets, or the number of times someone clicks on your job posting.

Impressions: The number of people a particular job ad reaches.

Spend: This is the amount of money that you are spending to promote your open job advertisements. Most companies choose to spend their recruiting budget on a “cost-per-click” or “cost-per-apply” model.

CPC: When using a “cost-per-click” advertising model, money is spent after every time someone clicks on a job advertisement.

CPA: When using a “cost-per-applicant” advertising model, money is spent after every time someone applies for a job.

CPH: The “cost-per-hire” is the total amount of money spent on hiring one employee. This is calculated by the total spend of a specific job divided by the total number of hires.

Conversion Rate: The number of people who click on your jobs that end up completing an application.
