Description

Appcast is seeking a Director of Sales to develop and coach a team of corporate sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate Sales Consultants to generate revenue opportunities for the sales organizations
  • Assist in the recruiting, staffing, and training of individuals to grow and maintain a sales team
  • Formulate and execute on quarterly sales plans
  • Assist Sales Consultants with client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Inspire, lead, and coach a dynamic, fast-paced sales team
  • Coach and provide feedback to sales consultants in the areas of sales/personal development, direction, and focus
  • Conduct weekly forecast reviews and quarterly progress review sessions with each representative
  • Manage productivity and the funnel and quality of sales opportunities to ensure teams meet established goals and standards
  • Conduct on-going process improvements, recommendations, and support the implementation of new initiatives
  • Assist in managing programs to achieve target goals for team and individual representatives
  • Work with Fortune 500-5000 accounts

Candidate Traits

  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent communications and leadership skills
  • 3-5 years successful sales experience
  • 1-3 years successful sales management experience, preferably leading a team dedicated to business development
  • Experience selling in the technology field is required
  • Success in building, growing and managing highly prolific sales teams
  • Familiarity with MS Office and database applications
  • Customer-focused – personally demonstrates that both external and internal customers are a high-priority by identifying and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Initiative – recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them by looking for new and productive ways to make an impact
  • Innovative Thinking – Embraces and champions new ideas and encourages others to do the same
  • Building Organizational Commitment – Demonstrates commitment, loyalty and appreciation for the organization. Conveys a high-level of concern for all employees, while helping to ensure that both their needs and those of the organization are met
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
